Have you ever been at mass and wished you could do more to help Jesus?If you are in grade three or higher and have received your First Holy Communion, then you can help Jesus by becoming an altar server.
In this very important ministry, the altar servers help the priest during mass. They are trained so that they know when the priest will need items to prepare to welcome Jesus to the altar and when to ring the bells, carry the candles and the cross, among other things.
Imagine how happy you would make Jesus if he knew you wanted to help your priest?

Children's liturgy
-
Our mission is to teach the Catholic faith and Gospel message to the children of our parish in a simple, fun, and interactive manner using storybooks and other visuals to get them excited about coming to Mass.
During the liturgy we lead the children in songs, prayers, a short explanation of that Sunday’s Gospel message, and a related craft or activity.
At the offertory, the children help to bring up the gifts. Father blesses them and they return to the pews with their parents.

Who? Children in JK to Gr. 4
When? During the Sunday 9 am Mass
Where? Parish Hall. Children can be brought down before Mass begins.
We usually start in the fall after Welcome Sunday (3rd week of September).
We do not have a Children’s Liturgy when there are other events scheduled in the Parish Hall, during the Christmas Break (2 weeks) and over the summer months (July, August).
