We have 101 members on our roster and approximately 25 active members. We are a visible presence in the parish and in the community, raising funds for charitable organizations, parish projects and our families in need. Promoting social activities within the parish community is also an important goal of our council.

St. Therese Bereavement Support Ministry offers support to those grieving within our Church, as well as our Catholic community. Our mission is to provide those who have lost a loved one compassion and comfort, in hope that they find peace within.
When someone you love dies, a part of your life dies too. You may wonder how you will walk in a world that no longer holds the footprints of your loved one. You may feel overwhelmed. This is a difficult part of life’s journey and you do not need to walk it alone. Our Bereavement Support Team is here to provide emotional, spiritual and prayer support during this time of grief and transition.
Our volunteers have received training and formation in order to journey with people who are grieving. Their life experiences allows them to provide heartfelt support during the very difficult stages of grief. As parish family, it is our hope and prayer that the veil of sorrow will lift, and that you will come to a place of peace and acceptance.
If you need assistance with selecting songs/hymns for a Funeral Mass or Memorial Service feel free to contact us. For more information on planning a funeral please visit our page.
Members of our Bereavement Support Ministry are available to offer support via phone calls until it is deemed safe for in-person visits.

Rituals like the Memorial Candlelight Mass help us on our journey of grief and also provide an opportunity to honour and pray for our deceased loved ones. A book will be provided to record the names of those you wish remembered. This book will be placed on the altar during the Memorial Masses.
(Memorial Mass to be celebrated at Easter & All Souls Day - Exact dates to be determined and listed in the church bulletin).
This committee is comprised of seven teams - each team has 3/4 members. The church is cleaned either on Monday's or Tuesday's every week and each team, volunteers on a seven-week rotation throughout the calendar year.

The decorating committee decorates the church for all major feast days. It is our objective to honor God in His Church and to distinguish the Feast Days from ordinary days for us parishioners and while doing so lighten the load for our Priests and Sisters.
